Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He was trained in Infectious Diseases at Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. His main clinical interests are all forms of aspergillosis, and infections in transplant recipients. His research interests are in pathogenesis of aspergillosis, clinical trials of new antifungals and immunotherapy in aspergillosis.
