Chair at Aspergillosis Trust

Lisa McNeil is Chair of the Aspergillosis Trust, a patient-led charity dedicated to raising awareness and improving understanding of aspergillosis. Diagnosed with bronchiectasis in 1998 and Aspergillus bronchitis in 2011, Lisa brings extensive lived experience of fungal lung disease and its treatment. She works closely with clinicians, researchers and patient organisations, including the National Aspergillosis Centre, the European Lung Foundation and ERS, advocating for meaningful patient involvement in research, education and healthcare. Lisa is passionate about ensuring that the patient voice is heard in mycology and that lived experience helps shape better understanding, treatments and care for people with aspergillosis.
